Michelle's Story
My name is Michelle, I am the mother of 6 beautiful children. This is a story I wish wasn't mine, but it is. I will share with you from beginning until end and beyond (As in grief there is no end) of the loss of 2 of my children.
This blog came out of from my experiences of losing 2 sons in a six year time span. In this time my faith, strength, patience, growth and mental stability have all been tested. My son John was killed in a motorcycle accident on 5/26/14, he was only 18 years old.. I never thought after suffering that devastating loss that I would be facing the same tragedy again, but yet here I am. My oldest son Vincent was shot and killed in his home on 7/15/20 at the age of 29. Again, the shock stunned our family as we had to lay to rest Vincent next to his brother John. My surviving children (Megan, Frankie, Maureen and Michael) and I are having the most difficult time navigating this loss. It is my sincere hope to offer support, guidance, love, kindness and compassion to you as you (or a loved one) navigate this extremely difficult journey. Some emotion will reflect the healing journey from my son John's passing 6 years ago, and yet some emotion will be raw as I cry out for strength as I face this new loss. I hope to give you a glimpse into the world that I hope you will never know, but if you are on this journey with me, then I am sending you the most love and honor that I can. I am with you.
